Fiama recently held a ‘Fabulous Hair Event’ with hair expert Sapna Bhavnani, whose website you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO see for yourself! They showcased 6 unique and trendy hairstyles on some lovely ladies including designer Ranna Gill, Vidushi Mehra (wife of designer Nikhil Mehra), Ambika Anand, etc. All the hairstyles were classy, practical and complimentary to any glam occassion.
But first a quickie Outfit Post followed by a few pics from the event!
The heat seems to be slowly ebbing so I decided it wouldn’t hurt to wear a mildly heavy shirt – a slightly old pick but still very much loved due to its sheer energy and vibrance – my ‘ZARA Scarf Print Shirt’.
Two trends that I have been going ape-shit over lately are finally here together, in one outfit post – Animal Prints and Barely there Distressed Denims. Occassion was my mom’s birthday lunch for which we all went to Cafe Delhi Heights in Gurgaon.
It has barely rained in Delhi this season. Still with all the cloudy moody skies I don’t feel like wearing full length clothes…something about the imagery of the hemlines getting dirty in the sludge etc. So I prefer shorter hemlines, folded or short trousers, skirts or dresses. I’d say shorts too but Delhi/Gurgaon isn’t really a girl-wearing-shorts-friendly city.
The colored denim trend has been raging for quite a while now. I have’nt dipped my pretty legs in all available colors. But the 2 colors that do happen to really work for me are Canvas Green which im wearing in this post and Coral which you will pobably see in another one. Just the deviation from the usual indigo denim color makes the denims somehow appear lighter and bearable for summer-wear. Plus I love color!
It has been, not what seems like but literally, AGES since I did my last outfit post. Had sort of lost my way but found it! Well here goes.
Im sure it won’t be news if I told the that Delhi summers are nothing to be joked about! Its merciless. The heat travels in a wave and if you aren’t prepared you are caught like Bambi in headlights.
Recently there was the #SuperSaturday sale at VeroModa, Only and Jack&Jones with a flat 60% off on everything, just for that day. Needless to say, I had to be there.
