For the longest time I have been thinking of doing a cream & white outfit inspired by my ‘Cream & White’ Pinterest Board […]
August has gone by so quickly! Summer seems to be fading away too…slowly but surely. What is it about summer that makes you […]
Polka Dots are such an evergreen trend. They may come and go and come back again, in all sorts of sizes, colors and quantities, but inside all of us, there will always be the child that loves polkas, any given day! For some reason I relate Polkas to vintage. Maybe because I wore them a lot in my childhood and not so much now. Which is why when I laid my eyes on this vintage Vogue cover, I had to do something about it. It was International Beer Day, Friendship Day & Sunday (read nursing-a-hangover-day). If you are looking for more excuses to go out and drink beer then clearly you are not a ‘Beer’ person. I had also managed to win a bucket of international beers at Shiro, Hotel Samrat through TWITTER so a couple of my friends and I decided to make a day of it. First stop Shiro to kickstart the day with some never before tasted beers, then onto a typical Sunday brunch, followed by an at-home movie.
Two trends that I have been going ape-shit over lately are finally here together, in one outfit post – Animal Prints and Barely there Distressed Denims. Occassion was my mom’s birthday lunch for which we all went to Cafe Delhi Heights in Gurgaon.
It has barely rained in Delhi this season. Still with all the cloudy moody skies I don’t feel like wearing full length clothes…something about the imagery of the hemlines getting dirty in the sludge etc. So I prefer shorter hemlines, folded or short trousers, skirts or dresses. I’d say shorts too but Delhi/Gurgaon isn’t really a girl-wearing-shorts-friendly city.
So with the much hyped craze about Pinterest, I really wanted to see what all the fuss was about and boy did I get hooked! I am still very new with Pinterest but I love being on it. Its my make believe world but besides that it actually does inspire me in so many ways – to take up personal projects that I never would have had time for before, experimenting with trends I would have never wandered near before, make-up tips and even huge motivation for fitness! Enough words – Pinterest is more about pictures so heres a little bit of my Pinterest to maybe get you hooked!
