Modern Begum { Heena Kochhar + LV + Nirwaana Jewelry }
After a month long break from the blog, I’m back you guys! Happy to be back because constant sharing on instagram can be somewhat draining for me. I like the process of sitting down on the table, editing photographs on the laptop, sharing more than 2 lines or words, drafting the blog post, linking back to partner websites and creating something so much bigger and better than a feeble instagram post. Does anyone else feel like that? For me, each blog post I create is a mini-child for me – it takes planning, thought, real work and always carries a piece of me (and it is never UNPLANNED).
Back to the lovely new Indianwear look that I’m sharing with you today – I recently visited Hamira for a weekend getaway and decided to shoot this lovely outfit for you guys while I was there. I don’t know what it is about being in Punjab – I always feel more like dressing up, especially in Indianwear, instead of my usual inclination to just throw on a pair of jeans and a tee.
A lot has happened in this past month that I was away from the blog – a lot of travel has been planned – a family vacation to Corbett with the newly opened Lebua there, Sri Lanka in Jan with Naina, Goa in Feb with girlfriends and Phuket in end Feb for anniv coz direct flights have started there and it was super easy and impulsive. More travel is being planned and I’m quite excited. I barely travelled in 2018 because I made a conscious decision to stay back and work as much as I could (I got a bit greedy for making more money). But then I realised that I’m making money for the sole purpose of travelling so avoiding doing that just for the same purpose was extremely daft of me. So here I am breaking that cycle and travelling more – paisa toh banta rahega (money will keep getting made)
I digress – here we go with the outfit. Hope you guys enjoy the pics. As always all outfit details are provided towards the end of the blog post so do scroll down to the end!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
