Ranikhet – { Queen of the Fields }
That’s a literal translation of ‘Ranikhet’, the place we love visiting since it’s got so many memories attached to it for our mum n dad. There is also the KRC (Kumaon Regimental Centre) there that is particularly close to my dad since he is from 13 Kumaon and was also posted there during his crazy young years, newly married to mom and what not. So I thought it fitting to end my Ranikhet series of looks with this beautiful one fit for a modern queen – shot in Ranikhet ofcourse (in the Golf Course in Ranikhet to be precise).
The outfit is from Jaypore, the kurta is in Chanderi fabric, a shirt-dress tunic hybrid that can be opened completely in the front and used as a light jacket as well. And one pic with boo since he rarely comes in front of the camera because I tend to hog all of it! Hope you guys enjoyed all my looks from Ranikhet – I had a crazy time shooting them and love each and every one of them to bits!
