The Right Cut

That’s actually the name of this fun, bright label – ‘The Right Cut‘ and I’m wearing their dress in handloom khadi, that has been hand dyed. It’s a beautiful fabric, extremely easy on the skin and I love the comfy shirt-dress silhouette, although it doesn’t completely open up from the front. This was one of the many lovely outfits I wore during my trip to Ranikhet recently and I still have a few more to share! Yay!

Leaving tomorrow for the Raid de Himalaya and there may be a few more blog posts that I manage to share while I’m away. I also went in for a little PCOD related check-up at the request of the dermatologist at Skin Alive (because I always get an acne flare up around my cycle). I got my ultrasound and blood test done on the 3rd day of my period. Haven’t yet received the blood test reports but the ultrasound discovered a decent sized cyst on my right ovary so that is going to be the first thing I get checked when I’m back from the Raid. I don’t feel comfortable at all leaving it un-looked at for almost a month but really have no choice here. Thought I’d share this with you guys. If you have it on your mind please get it tested, get it looked at and get it off your mind. Wish me luck!

I just remembered another story behind this shoot – it’s not exactly funny but in retrospect it may be. Aman got bit by a pet dog in Ranikhet on his palm and we all were driving around pretty much all of Ranikhet looking for his Rabies shot which is why he couldn’t be behind the camera for this one. Which is why Naina came to my help!

Enjoy the pics you gorgeous people!!
