SUMMER LOOKBOOK | Look 9
I’m really liking the way my ‘SUMMER LOOKBOOK’ concept turned out. Sharings outfits that I enjoy wearing myself and mostly non-sponsored content so that I have complete freedom and control over the content and what I write. It’s fun to shoot and it kinda reminds me of why I started blogging in the first place when you created content purely because you liked doing it and there were no incentives from any brands at all – yes those times did exist at a point. While I’m not complaining about the current situation at all (hello, that’s how I earn my living now), it feels good to take out time and blog about about my personal style too – no strings attached.
I wore this outfit when we went out to grab some beers on Naina’s birthday recently in Gurgaon. It’s a bit boho with some tribal jewelry and my favorite part – my red eyelids! I’m not your usual makeup fanatic – to this date I don’t actually know how to apply more than 2 different colors of eyeshadow on my eyelids so breaking away from my usual foundation + eyebrows + mascara + lipstick routine can be considered nothing less than an achievement (that too on a friggin weekday). But hey, I was wearing a fabulous dress with red accents and the only agenda of the day was to chill and drink fresh beer so I went for some red on my eyelids (it was a red lipstick I applied because I don’t have a red eyeshadow obviously) and what do you know! It looked great! Wooh!
Cherry on top of the pie (can’t seem to stop the ‘red’ references) was when doggo decided to come and play with me mid shoot – by then I was happy drunk on all the beer which is quite evident from my smile. Hic!
I know it’s a Tuesday but typing this blog post makes me feel like it’s a Friday! Hope you guys have a great week!
Enjoy the pics and all outfit details are given at the end of the blog post so don’t forget to scroll down.
