Summer Lookbook | Look 4
Continuing with my SUMMER LOOKBOOK, I present to you Look 4 – perfect for catching up with your girlfriends after a work thing – a brilliantly simple summer dress in handwoven khadi cotton that you can belt up for a sharper look or just by itself for an easy day, paired with just a hint of shimmer via the boots and a pop of blue in the bag to make the outfit just a bit more exciting. I’m trying to bring you looks and dresses that you can actually wear everyday, indie labels that you can discover instead of running to Zara, Forever 21, H&M, etc everytime you want to shop so that you can own clothes that you will not only be proud to wear but styles that will also last you longer than a one-time F21 product. This is pretty much the gist of the #RedhuxIndieDesign hashtag – to bring to you local brands that are making great product – that I would wear (and prefer to fast fashion brands) in a heartbeat.
I’ll tell you one thing though – this heat isn’t making it easy for me to shoot my outfits for the SUMMER LOOKBOOK. Ideally, I wanted to document all my special summer outfits for you guys but it’s getting harder – I’m not a morning person so early morning shoots go right out the window and I can’t always find indoor, air-conditioned locations to shoot the looks and doing my shoots out in the open is just not a possibility. Bleh!
Hope you enjoy this look! All details and link to the dress towards the end of the post!
