The Ramada Experience – Rajasthan
A quick getaway from Delhi took me to Kumbalgarh and Udaipur in Rajasthan – an exclusive experience with Ramada. We stayed at Ramada Resort Kumbalgarh and Ramada Udaipur Resort & Spa. It was my first time in Kumbalgarh and third in Udaipur.
Rajasthan is always a special place to visit and my experience was made even more special with the cherishable hospitality by Ramada Worldwide that has been serving business and leisure travellers around the world since 1954. With more than 850+ mid and upper-midscale full-service hotels spanning 64 countries in 6 continents (21 operational hotels in India), it’s one of the most recognised hotel brands in the world that enables you to #SampleTheWorld.
Each Ramada hotel in India embodies the trademark Indian hospitality through personalised greetings, a welcoming atmosphere, along with attention to detail thereby ensuring utmost comfort for guests during their stay. Ramada works in sync with Wyndham Rewards that is one of the leading loyalty programmes in the hotel industry with over 50 million members worldwide, connecting 18 iconic brands together. Wyndham Rewards offers members a simple-to- use, generous points earning structure along with a flat, free night redemption rate – the first of its kind for
a major rewards programme and was also named the number one hotel rewards programme for 2016-2017 by U.S. News & World Report.
I’m sharing a photo-diary of my stay and experience at both the properties. As usual, I had so many pics and I’ve really tried to keep it as concise as possible. Hope you enjoy it!

The martinis here are a must try!
We went in for the Signature Sohum Massage at the Spa and were not disappointed.
The sunsets in both Kumbalgarh and Udaipur were nothing short of fantastic! We clicked this on the rooftop above our room in Ramada Udaipur.

Hi Akanksha,
I stumbled onto your blog while searching for other bloggers who have also stayed at the hotel.
I really like this piece. I’ve booked my family into the Ramada Udaipur Resort & Spa. We’ll be there for 4 nights as this is our splurge destination. We’ll be in two Premium Villa Rooms overlooking the Valley, as our teenage son will be travelling with us, and he would prefer his own space…!
I really like your dresses. I can’t believe that the orange dress is from H&M! We don’t get such bright colours in Germany where I live, only greys, browns, dark greens and blues! I’m thinking that I’ll have to do some serious shopping when we get there next year (July / August).
Could you recommend shopping malls where I can shop “peacefully” without all the hasle of street vendors, and I can buy smart clothing / classical Indian clothes that I could wear for my lifestyle projects, and that would equally be at home in a West European setting?
Hi Victoria, thank you so much for the lovely comment! I’m so happy to read that you’ve booked your stay at Udaipur!
I would suggest you do your shopping in New Delhi when you land in India – you must visit stores like FabIndia, GoodEarth, Nicobar. And you can shop online on Jaypore.com, ajoi.com, nete.in
Hope that helps 🙂
