Veet Sensitive Touch Beauty Trimmer

I’m always on the lookout for effective devices that make my life easy on-the-go because it’s important for me as a personal style influencer, to be camera ready for all the events and shoots that I have planned at any given time. Which is why, when I discovered the new electric trimmer by Veet called ‘Sensitive Touch Beauty Trimmer’, I knew that I HAD to try it out for myself.

While there are quite a few electric trimmers out there created specifically for men (to work on beards, body hair, etc), a similar device designed for women was lacking until this nifty little Veet product came in. Something created keeping women and their hair-trimming needs in mind.

About the Device:
The star element of the Veet Sensitive Touch Beauty Trimmer is its precision shaping and styling. Which means that you can gently cut and shape hair on numerous sensitive areas like your eyebrows (that’s a winner!), upper lip (no more threading. Yay!), side-burns, underarms, your bikini line and more.

The packaging is very user-friendly with all the salient points of the device described on the box with pictorial guides as well. What does the box contain:
When you have opened the packaging you find the following objects that are a part of the product:
– The trimmer body on which you can change 2 heads depending on what part of the body you’d like to trim or style
– A 2 sided trimming head for the facial area with 6mm and 16mm on each side
– 1 comb attachment for this head with 2mm and 4mm on either side
– 1 styler cap to cover this head for travel purposes
– A bigger 1 sided trimming head for the underarms and bikini area which is 20mm
– 1 comb attachment for this head
– 1 cleaning brush to clean the heads after you are done with the trimming and styling
– 1 beauty pouch to carry all these contents easily together while travelling
– 1 AA battery to get you started immediately

My Experience with the Device:
– I enjoyed how truly precise the trimming heads are when you use them without the combs. My favorite is doing my upper lip because I detest getting it threaded (it’s so painful and I always end up with watery eyes and a red upper lip after I’m done). Veet Sensitive Touch Beauty Trimmer is such a blessing and I can literally do my upper lip anywhere I am (even in the mall washroom if I realise I need to clean up before a meeting or just before a shoot so that shots of my lipstick come out perfect.
– I have personally used the device on my upper lip even when I have makeup on and it works just the same when there is foundation on the skin. However I would suggest that you wash the head after such use so that there is no product left on the head.
– Only the heads should be washed – not the trimmer body.
– Underarms is another spot you can quickly clean-up with the bigger head. I have already used this device in-between my shoots when I realised I had to wear a sleeveless top for a few shots. It gives a very clean finish and there is no chance of the skin getting irritated.
– You can also style your side-burns with the trimmer if you fancy – or literally any facial hair.
– The device is very safe and you don’t need to worry about getting nicks and cuts because the cutting blades do not touch the skin.
– The trimmer has to be used on dry skin only – you do not need any special product before you use this device for example shaving gel, foam or cream.
– And to get the closest trim possible always move the blades against the direction of hair growth.
– This would be the perfect beauty product to carry on any vacation or work-trip because it takes up such less space and is so multi-functional. I am already in love!
