L’Occitane Harmonie Divine Skincare

The newest, most luxurious launch by L’Occitane en Provence is the anti-aging skincare collection – ‘Harmonie Divine’ or Divine Harmony. Launched in India this December, I got my hands on it towards the end of November and have been using it since. I even took this powerful duo of serum & cream with me to Magnetic Fields Festival in Alsisar, Rajasthan recently because I never compromise on my skincare even when it’s at a music festival in the middle of the desert with extremes in temperatures, lots of sun exposure, lots of alcohol intake so dehydration and lack of sleep too! Factors like these combined can wreak total havoc on any skin so all the more reason to be diligent with your skincare routine. And the L’Occitane Harmonie Divine Collection performed so well and took such good care of my skin!

This collection is available in stores across India. Other L’Occitane products can be shopped online from their Indian website as well.

The L’Occitane Harmonie Divine Collection combines the power of Jania Rubens and Immortelle Millésimée for the first time. The rare Jania Rubens extract – red algae with the ability to eternally regenerate, has been combined with Immortelle Millésimée from Corsica – a flower that never fades. The two ingredients work together to improve skin texture and elasticity. The Divine Harmony range includes Divine Harmony Serum and Divine Harmony Cream. It is a complete ritual in itself, meeting the demand for holistic beauty through a three-step skincare approach – harmony of skin texture & tone, harmony of facial contours and inner harmony – by providing an immediate sense of well-being through the application ritual.

After using both the products together for almost a month now I can safely say that the Harmonie Divine Collection gives a very comforting feeling to the skin when applied regularly and my skin feels nourished and calm. The impressive hydration that the skin gets from these is my absolute favorite part.

Harmonie Divine Serum 30 ml – ₹ 12,000/-

The serum encapsulates 5,000 micro-drops of Immortelle Millésimée with Jania Rubens suspended in droplet form until you dispense them into your fingers through the pump. Love the pump design because it preserves the power of the ingredients and protects them from exposure to the atmosphere. So with each pump you get fresh, untouched, pure product ready to perform it’s best.

The texture is quite light, gets spread very easily on the skin and is absorbed at a decent pace – not too quick that you can’t spread it across the entire face and not too slow that you keep waiting to apply the next product over it. It gives instant hydration to my face and I have definitely noticed my skin getting a smoother texture with regular usage.

Harmonie Divine Cream 50 ml – ₹ 11,000/-

The cream is what I apply over the serum at night before going to sleep. It has a unique texture that feels creamy when you take it out of the pot on your finger but as soon as you spread it between both your palms, the heat from the palms transforms it into a light oily texture that you then envelope you skin with. It doesn’t feel heavy even for a second and the cream feels more like a protective veil on your face for some reason. No greasiness AT ALL.

I like the fact the the bottle has a lid that doesn’t get completely detached so you don’t have to find a clean place to keep it since that can tend to get a bit unhygienic at times. The cap is hinged and you can immediately snap it back on when the cream is out.

Both the products have a very relaxing fragrance, slightly different from each other and it really does help in bringing the entire experience together in harmony! It almost feels like a spa ritual every night to me and has carved out a special place for itself in my night-time routine. My skin feels healthy, smooth, relaxed and hydrated.
