Cuore Ferragamo | Agra

It’s been quite some time since we were whisked away to a beautiful stay in Agra by Salvatore Ferragamo for the launch of their lovely new ‘Cuore‘ watch in India and I had some lovely pics of the experience that I HAD to share with you. Our stay was arranged at the brilliant Oberoi Amarvilas, which was also the venue for the official launch event followed by a gala dinner and I have photographs of it all (lots of them so have fun browsing!)

We started off with a road trip to the hotel in Agra where we were treated to immaculate hospitality and spectacular views of the Taj Mahal right from our room, where we rested and got ready for the exciting evening.

The Cuore watch has been created by Salvatore Ferragamo as a perfect accessory and an ideal gift of love for a special occasion like an anniversary or even the birthday of a loved one. And what sets it apart is the steel heart inside the dial which “beats” once a second as its two halves separate and then reunite, driven by a patented device. The secret is an innovative quartz movement, designed and manufactured exclusively for Salvatore Ferragamo. Pressing the crown starts the function, while the time is set with a button at 2 o’clock using a special heart-shaped tool. It truly is a special and mesmerising object and I have managed to fascinate everybody I know closely with my Cuore Ferragamo and it’s beating heart. I’m in LOVE! I went for a classic black calfskin strap and I love the fact that the women’s dial is not as tiny as they usually are in other brands – I have always been a fan of large dials which is why I’m more fond of men’s watches than women’s, but the Cuore Ferragamo has a really perfect dial size which is not too small, not too big, magnificently heavy/solid and completely classy.

Cuore Ferragamo is available with a bi-colour bracelet or a crocodile print calfskin strap in one of a sophisticated palette of colour shades: yellow, black, red, purple, pink and grey. Here is a lovely video to show you the true beauty of the Cuore Ferragamo and how exactly the heart beats:
