Day 02 | #AIFWSS17 | Candy Pop

Candy candy candy! Coz it was Day 02 of the Amazon India Fashion Week SS17 and you kinda need that sugar rush to keep you going (or maybe an espresso shot. Or 10). I just had the worse timing of getting two of my teeth extracted (one normal and one wisdom) just 2 days before the #AIFWSS17 was to start. Now I’m left with stitches in my mouth, and the look of a total grumpy face because I can’t smile properly or even talk too much – no food or alcohol can also be consumed either (only soft and cold foods and a diet of antibiotics and painkillers). But it was one those things that I had been delaying for over 8 months and if I hadn’t gotten it done when I did, I would have had to suffer another 8 because I just cannot get myself to visit a dentist. So if you see me at Fashion Week and I don’t smile back at you or smile really weird, you’ll know why.

Moving on from my dreary dental story, I can ofcourse have all the fun I want to with my clothes. Because it’s fashion week and because I probably have the biggest wardrobe anybody could possibly have – Amazon Fashion! I went in for a bright happy pink/orange maxi dress, knotted a plain crisp white shirt over it retro-style and also wore another retro accessory – the choker (another bright happy thing). Paired it with subtle shiny brogues and a Dior bag & sunnies. Here are pics of my outfit from today. All product links are at the end.
