Wills Lifestyle Autumn Winter 2016
The season is changing and everywhere I look new collections for Autumn Winter are popping up. I was happy to be invited back by Wills Lifestyle to get a first hand view of their brand new Autumn Winter 2016 collection, this time at their store in Ambience Mall, Gurgaon where they also promised to wow us bloggers with a ‘flying fashion show’. What’s that you wonder – it’s all there towards the end of the post. Read along.
I even went ahead and tried on one of my favorite looks from the collection – a pair of powder blue casual pants and the most dainty and pretty white lace shirt buttoned up till the top. Isn’t it just the most fresh and inviting outfit?! I felt like I was beaming in the huge drowning Saturday evening crowds at the mall in it. I went about exploring the rest of the collection and instantly knew what my favorite pieces from it were going to be. Here are some pics of the collection and pieces that caught my eye. Another favorite was this dress from Wills SIgnature by Pankaj & Nidhi. Black see-through with beautiful embroidery in white/ivory.

A model wearing a look from the collection – I quite like the combination of ombre and the embellished sleeves, with just a touch of glam.
After immersing ourselves in the new collection it was time for the most exciting part of the evening that I was looking forward to all day since I woke up that day – The ‘Flying Fashion Show’. I had no clue what it was going to be like but what I did know for sure was that I wasn’t going to miss it! We proceeded to the Mall Atrium where a few entertaining games were played with passing by customers and Wills Lifestyle vouchers were gifted as prizes. And then it was time.
The moment I saw the drones I knew what this was going to be – a real flying fashion show. Life size mannequins wearing looks from the Wills Lifestyle AW16 collection were hung onto the drones and flown back and forth along the up-in-the-air runway over our heads! This was insane! I have never seen anything quite like this before and for that I’m super glad I was invited by Wills! Here are some pics from the flying fashion show.
The show was concluded with human showstoppers and I was excited to see the model in my absolute favorite Wills Signature dress by Ritu Kumar (something I had styled her in while inside the store!) Isn’t it pretty – perfect Autumn colors and loving the boho vibe of that uneven hemline.
