Kedungu Beach – Bali
A day spent at Kedungu Beach. We went to a lot of non-mainstream beaches in Bali – the lesser known hidden gems and that is always so rewarding. During the day this beach is practically empty. A couple of fishermen seated securely on the rocks and you. There are no beach shacks or umbrellas or sun beds so you have to find refuge under the shade of the trees lining the rocky edge or the shade of the rocks themselves. So carry a beach spread, some water and snacks. There are few shops at walking distance from where you can get local food and coconut waters.
Just once during the day our peace was slightly disrupted by young boys who came to do some dirt biking on the beach but they left pretty quickly.
Towards the evening locals do gather around to have a splash in the water, watch the sunset, play ball, etc so towards sunset time it tends to get a bit crowded. We left the moment the sun set and headed back on our bike. Bear with me because there are a lot of photographs that I clicked at Kedungu Beach. I just couldn’t get enough.
