Padang Padang Beach – Bali
Situated in the southern part of Bali, Padang Padang Beach is again a quiet and secluded beach with just a handful of tourists sun-bathing everyday. It is located on the west coast of South Kuta and definitely a very picturesque beach that will be a perfect setting for a day of beach-bumming. While, like most beaches in Bali, Padang Padang is not ideal for swimming, you can try and venture into the rocky beach at your own pace. There is lots of natural shade because of the trees and no sun-beds or umbrellas put out for anyone. So you will need to carry your beach spread, lots of sunscreen, a book to keep you busy and some music although most of the times I love how the sound of the waves, roasting in the sun and the salt water seem to put me to sleep like a baby. There are a couple of local shacks with ice-cold Bintangs and fresh young coconuts. No pesky sellers bothering you with selling trinkets. It is also a lovely long beach to take a walk on.
Since we were staying on the east coast of South Kuta, it was about a 30 minute ride for us on the two-wheeler and I made sure to cover up with a beautiful outfit by Three Clothing by Pallavi Dhyani and my favorite jewelry of the season from Zariin – there is something so soothing and feminine about these dusty pink Rhodochrosite pieces I’m wearing. Zariin has also come up with an exciting new trunk concept to help you with your holiday shopping. Classic and versatile, I know I will be using this jewelry for lots and lots of more vacations to come!
