Bali Beauty Guide
My very first post from Bali! Woop woop! I’m sharing with you the beauty goodies I have carried with me for my month long stay in Bali – both for skincare as well as my makeup essentials that are perfect for that beachy glow! Giving you a lowdown on all the beauty stuff that is currently in my makeup pouch!
Here goes:
–> 3-Step Skin Care: For combination to oily skin. Twice a day. Simple, basic and effective. With the liquid facial soap for cleansing, clarifying lotion and the dramatically different moisturizing gel.
–> 7 Day scrub cream rinse-off formula: This is a unique exfoliating cream that refines the skin after you have massaged it over your face. I prefer removing it with a tissue but it can also be rinsed off.
–> Turnaround revitalizing instant facial: This is a facial in a bottle. An easy to apply mask in a tube so you can do it anywhere after cleaning your skin with the micellar towelettes. 10-15 minutes after which you can rinse it off with warm water. Makes the skin feel super fresh and bright.
–> SPF 30 mineral sunscreen lotion for body and for face: The lotion is impressively moisturizing and doesn’t leave a greasy feel like most other sunscreens. AND it’s oil-free.
–> Stay-Matte universal blotting powder: Bali is hot and humid so it’s always a good idea to carry blotting powder to blot excess sebum and oil from the face especially when you have an oil factory like I do. It also helps in keeping the makeup on for longer. It’s a white powder but doesn’t make your skin look white and it instantly mattifies the skin. It comes with it’s own sponge so no need for an extra brush.
–> Take the day off Micellar cleansing towelettes for face and eyes: This is such a heaven sent product. Also my first time using the new ‘micellar’ range and I LOVE it! First the re-sealable packaging makes it perfect for travel and also to carry it in your beach bag incase you’ll need to remove your makeup on the go. Second, the micellar cleansing liquid is so gentle and removes all traces of makeup from the skin and is also gentle enough to remove eye-makeup. For very heavy makeup it took me 2 towelettes to remove all of it, including eye makeup – mascara + eyeliner + eyebrow filler. And third, you don’t need to rinse or wash off anything after cleaning your skin with the towelette. I just use it on my face, slap on on some sunscreen and am fresh faced to go! It’s a brilliant product!
–> Chubby in the nude foundation stick {24 gargantuan golden}: This is a dark shade and I actually love using this for contouring and making those cheek bones pop. Love the easy pencil format that makes it easy to apply and keep things geometric on both sides of the face.
–> BB Cream SPF 35 {Natural}
–> Bronzing Powder {Stonestreet 16}
–> Nude finish illuminating powder {Nude} *Limited Edition*
–> Long-Wear cream shadow Stick {Truffle} that I also use as an illuminator on my brow-bone and outside my lips. *Limited Edition*
–> Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks {Blushed Rose 3}
–> Long-Wear Brow Gel {Taupe}
–> Eye-Opening Mascara {Black}
–> Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner {Midnight Sky Ink 41} *Limited Edition*
–> Sheer lip color {Peach Sorbet 20}: I am wearing this in the pictures *Limited Edition*
–> Radiance Boost + Instant Detox face masques
–> Beach eau de parfum
