Work It
While my work doesn’t really require me to follow any specific dress code, I do personally like to wear ‘workwear’ from time to time for my meetings to feel serious and mean business. It does have a certain aura about it – workwear. Makes you take your work just a tad bit more seriously and that can sometimes be a very good thing. As much as I like wearing structured blazers, I somehow don’t feel comfortable in them when I know I have to wear them all day. It limits your shoulder movement and I find that very frustrating – you can’t even lift your arms completely. So I tend to wear blazers when it’s just a meeting. But when I know I have to spend my entire day in the outfit, I look for more comfortable options – enter this perfect substitute – the slinky trench. It’s flowy and doesn’t limit your arm movement and looks just as formal and serious as any other workwear. The easiest option to go for in workwear is solids. You generally tend to not have too much time to think about your formal outfit so the best way is to keep it simple and not get confused by prints and patterns. I paired my tan trench with a solid blue top and black palazzos. Simple, non-fussy, comfortable and work-wearable. What do you think of my ONLY outfit?

Hi Avanti, thank you so much for the lovely comment.
I like it Ms Redhu. Though for regular work wear and my personal style, I would pick straight pants. Nonetheless, you look Awesome!
Hey! Thank you so much for your comment. Yes straight pants are definitely more popular but these wide legged ones are so much more comfy 😉
