Winter Sun

I have officially declared the winters. I do feel the cold than the others and definitely more than the boys. A total tropical baby, I was made for the beaches, not the bone-aching cold. So how do I cope with the winters? I switch on my oil-radiator room heater, get inside my cozy blanket and stay in my room for the next few winter months. AND NEVER COME OUT. Especially for any night plans. No that never happens with me. Friends don’t see me in the winters and eventually forget i’m in the same city – and I like it that way.

But I still do crave my share of the winter sun. Basking under it is a truly special gift where you can remove most of your layers and feel the warmth penetrating the suffocating Delhi pollution and reaching your skin. The sunny days are the ones I cherish most during this time.

The combination of a large over-sized white shirt and classic blue denims is literally the best thing to have happened to fashion before all the bullshit and it will NEVER go out of style. Atleast for me. And the cherry on top is the boyish denim jacket that is back too! So much better than all those fitted ones that leave you breathless and stiff in your shoulders. Sure they do have a certain charisma about them but I cannot imagine spending an entire day in them.
