Friday
Frankly, I couldn’t think of a name for this post so I thought I’d name it after the day I wanted it to go live – Friday. Also because this outfit and the setting in the hills in Kasauli kinda all makes you feel that feeling you get on a Friday – of almost impending doom and also bottled up excitement about the weekend. Both kinda go hand in hand no? Where you have no idea what the sudden freedom has in store for you, you most definitely want to go for it all out but you also know there may that one completely wasted Sunday where you spend the entire day in bed (nursing that bitch of a hangover)…just maybe.
This is the last post from my recent Kasauli trip with the fam-bam. And it makes me miss the time I spent there – impatiently frustrated for even an aorta of data network, then kinda giving up and trying to enjoy being in the nature, in the hills but still always having one eye on the network bar. Fun times. I wonder if the solid knowledge of either no data at all or complete data would have given me more peace and helped me enjoy my time here more. Nonetheless it was a fabulous break from the cesspool that is Delhi. (Thanks Bharat, for teaching me the word ‘cesspool’). Hope you guys like the pics and the very basic and casual outfit I’m wearing. It was the best. It had started to rain midway and it got really cold suddenly so we had to cut short the shoot but I have enough pics – also one with the wet leather bag that I was hopping around trying to protect it from the water dripping from the trees above.

Thank you!
Love your look Akanksha, really chic! Kasauli looks soo beautiful in pictures, I’m sure it’s filled with scenic landscapes.

Style.. A Pastiche!
Thank you so much!!
Location and outfit both on point. That top does not look thrift-ed.
Thank you! You get a lot of great stuff in Sarojini Nagar since there is a lot of export surplus and rejected stuff there 🙂
Nice post Akanksha . I am sure you had enjoyed your Kasauli Trip to the fullest. Although there was network problems in hilly areas, but that is a very good thing especially for extremely busy persons like us, since no network means, no owrries about call and mails and just enjoy and fun all around. Tank you for sharing such a good post.
Thank you so much Nitin. Yes, the ‘barely there’ network was a gift in disguise 🙂
Superb clicks. Seems like you are enjoying the weather of Kasauli very much.
