The Palette | Tanishq

Customizable jewelry is my favorite kind! It’s no surprise that I was very excited to explore and try out the fresh new ‘Palette’ Collection by Tanishq where you can change a ring in 36 different ways to suit your mood, occasion or just because you can. Yes, thats right – 36.

I also do love the way they have so aptly named the collection – ‘Palette’ because, much like an artist’s palette, you can play with different colors. It is literally the most versatile ring out there. With patented Swedish design and technology that is simple to understand and equally fun and easy to play around with, the ‘Palette’ Collection has be specifically created for Indian women who love colors and more than colors, love changing their looks and tastes.

You have 9 gemstones to pick from – Blue Topaz, Madeira Citrine, Green Topaz, Red Garnet, Lemon Quartz, Amethyst, Cognac Quartz, Pink Amethyst and Black Onyx. You have the option of a yellow or white gold ring shank and 3 different lock rings – yellow & yellow, white & pink or white & white. It all sounds a bit complicated but one look at it and it all just comes to you super easy. I have also shown a step by step guide of how to change from one gemstone to another later on in the post. Its difficult to restrain yourself from playing with it like its a toy sometimes!

If you follow me regularly you will be no stranger to the fact that I do like to pile on my accessories from time to time and I haven’t shyed away this time around either. 3 rings in one hand and 2 in the other. Even over-crowding them looks so classy! Since these rings are so lovely on their own, I have paired them with a gorgeous white linen dress by ILK to keep the look light and summery.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to change a gemstone or ring shank of the ring.
Take your ring and admire it for a bit.

Then when you are finally ready to bring in a new gemstone, twist the lock ring.

Remove the gemstone from the setting.

Remove the lock ring if you need to change that as well.

Pick out the gemstone that you would like to place in the ring.

Place the lock ring first. Then put in the new gemstone. And you are DONE! Easy-peasy.
