Bryant Park – NYC

Spent a lovely day at Bryant Park in New York City at the beginning of our trip. Right now I’m sitting in our Brooklyn Airbnb apartment on a Sunday drafting the blog post. Some days you just have to work. New York has been an amazing experience. In many ways it is just another big city but in many ways it’s really special. You can walk endlessly here and never be bored. Back home in Delhi the idea of walking on the streets wearing what I wear here at the times I walk around only makes me shudder. Besides, the skies are just so blue here. It’s like even the clouds are happy and full of joy being in Manhattan!

My time in New York is inching to an end and I don’t even want to begin thinking about my painfully long flight back home. It is a 13 or 14 hour long flight to Dubai. Then I have an 8 hour stop over in Dubai (There is only so much Duty Free scanning and shopping I can think of). And then a 3 hour flight to Delhi. Oh well! If you have any cool product suggestions for Duty Free please do share with me so that I can check them out.

Back to Bryant Park, they have free Wifi here. Plenty of pretty tables to sit under the gorgeous green trees, open grass if you want to strip to your kini and get some sun and tall buildings all around.

My outfit is just an all-white look with my really old but fav denim jacket and a statement necklace that is my only recent purchase. Most of the clothes I packed for New York are all my old clothes barring a few pieces that designer Cameron Kham was lovely enough to send across for my trip and my Vero Moda outfit. I had packed a lot of basics – blacks and whites and 3 jackets – a denim one, a red blazer and a camel trench and very few dressy pieces. All the outfits that I will be sharing subsequently with you will make you realized how just carrying classic pieces can give you so many options of good, evergreen style.
