Vogue Eyewear with Deepika Padukone

As hectic as one day trips to Mumbai from Delhi are, I love doing them from time to time because of the sheer energy you seem to be running on. There is hardly any time for anything else and the vehemence is addictive. I recently made a trip to Mumbai to celebrate the launch of the new ‘Texture’ collection by Vogue Eyewear along with Deepika Padukone where blogger Rhea & I also got the opportunity to get styled and made-up by Deepika’s entourage – Stylist Shaleena Nathani + Makeup artist Daniel Bauer + Hair stylist Gabriel Georgiou.

I spent a night at Taj Landsend and had a fabulous view of Mumbai!

The event took place at Tote on the Turf, where the amount of media that had been invited was a bit intimidating since Rhea & I had to be up on stage while our hair & makeup was getting done.

After we were completely styled by the experts, Deepika came on stage and picked out a pair of Vogue Eyewear that she felt would go best with our styled looks and answered some questions from the media.

My favorite glasse were these which had floral patterns on the inside.

And I was thoroughly impressed with Gabriel’s hair-styling skills. All I had done was wash and dry my hair for him. And it took him less than 5 minutes to give me these fabulous textured waves with that crazy volume. I’m in love!
