My Unicorn

It’s fun, no wait, it’s necessary to have a little world of your own. That nobody else knows about. To which you can drift off on a particularly slow and maybe humid Thursday afternoon. You could put on your current favorite tune, look out the window and start dreaming. No, not the sleep kind. I’m referring to the dreams you make with your eyes open. Your day-dreams. I have been told day-dreaming is bad (waste of time), I have read that day dreaming is great food for your mind and soul. Pretty much like anything else in life, people have come up with the good and bad side of day-dreaming. While I’m not standing behind either of those sides, I am only sharing my love for some serious day-dreaming today. I have been and still am a voracious day-dreamer. I can’t say for sure whether that has done me any good or bad. But what I do know is that I have enjoyed every second of doing it. Back in school, I used to imagine (okay, day-dream) that they would actually dedicate day-dream time for us kids or that it would eventually happen over the years. But, yes, I know, it hasn’t. We have, all, with a united agreement, moved towards the more material things in life. I still day-dream however. Which is why, when I spotted this dress, I knew it was going home with me. The end.
