Acron Waterfront Resort | Goa
Towards the end of my 2 month long stay in Goa I was invited to experience a stay at Acron Waterfront Resort in Baga. Just in time! And what better way to bid a goodbye to Goa than this relaxing and blissful way.
This bright and beautiful property, with it’s 29 rooms is located right on the Baga peninsula past the Baga bridge which is a perfect way to be centrally located on the action, yet be away from the crazy crowds. You have a constant view of where the Baga river meets the Arabian Sea and watching the fishermen set out for work and bring in the catch later everyday is somehow quite relaxing. With an infinity pool right next to the river and a bar situated inside the pool, there wasn’t any place else I needed to be.
The Acron Waterfront Resort has one restaurant – The River Restaurant by Chef Cyrus Todiwala. You have the option of sitting outside by the river or inside in air-conditioning. Their breakfast spread is scrumptious and especially lovely for health-freaks. The day-time menu has been kept limited since most people come to Goa to be outside on the beaches. However, there is something for everyone. My favorite was the Thai rare beef salad. Sudesh Shetty, the restaurant manager at The River Restaurant is one of THE most fun people I have met in the hospitality business. You must say hello to him if you visit!
I lived in Room – 10 of the Acron Waterfront Resort and here is a quick photo-diary of my stay and experience.
The way to the Sitara Spa where I had the magnificent Swedish massage by Sarah.
The view of the river meeting the sea from the pool area.

Thank you so much!
i love your bubble-gum tee…no doubt u r damn hot.
how do u maintain the hotness…the shine, glow, flawlessness and everything which makes the body perfect for a bikni…can u temme pls..any specific bodylotion/scrub/bodymakeup?
Thank you so much for the lovely compliment Anju. I usually use any shower gel with body-gloves for scrubbing and apply a good body butter after drying up. I am currently using Kama Ayurveda coconut body butter. It is very luscious. I don’t use any body makeup since I usually don’t have that kind of time or patience. Hope that helps 🙂
Hi. Its a fabulous post and you look great. I would love to know the skin routine you followed for the beach holiday, your skin looks great – no excess tanning or change in texture. It’d really help.
Hi Yachana thank you so much for the comment. For holidays I have pretty much the same routine except that my sunscreen usage increases a lot. However I apply sunscreen only on my face and neck. I also exfoliate my face daily with a scrub from Kama Ayurveda.
