Yab Yum Resort | Goa

There is a new-kid-on-the-block travel website that literally brings you “India’s Hippest Hotels”, because their team personally stays at all the hotels to review them giving you genuine feedback. When I discovered Tripzuki during my stay in Goa, I knew I HAD to give it a try because apart from my rented apartment in Arpora, I did want to stay on the beach for a couple of days. And I found the perfect place on my ‘favoritest’ beach in North, Goa – Ashwem Beach.

Tripzuki suggested Yab Yum on Ashwem Beach and there was no looking back! Since it is getting hotter in Goa now, I decided to go for a beach cottage that has air conditioning rather than their domes. The beach cottages are also closer to the beach! Yab Yum does not have too many signs or directions on the road or the beach specifying it’s location so it is almost tucked away on the gorgeous Ashwem Beach. Here is a photo-diary of my stay there.

A lush, dense tree cover with sandy paths leading to the domes and cottages. Yab Yum has a cute and colorful restaurant with some quirky art and THE most amazing fresh juices I have had in Goa so far. If there is one juice you should try it is the Pineapple + Ginger Juice. Make sure you order ice separately because they don’t add any sugar and ice and this juice tastes absolutely refreshing when super-chilled.

They also have big disco balls hanging over in the trees. It’s nothing big but kinda makes me happy everytime I look at the disco-balls. The beach cottage I stayed at was the one closest to the beach with the restaurant right next to it. Yab Yum also has a common dining/chilling area. They ofcourse have free wifi so it’s nice to sit there and work and meet the other guests of the resort.

Tripzuki has a lot of lovely resort suggestions across India. A lot of them in Goa and other locations like Pondicherry, New Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, etc.

This place looks so simple yet exotic. the food looks divine! I love ginger with pineapple juice. I also add it to my carrot juice. It gives it that nice extra kick. I wish I could rock swim-wear the way you do 🙂
