~ Mawi + Koovs ~

A collection I had been looking forward to ever since I got wind of it, the #MawixKoovs collaboration is high on energy & low on price-points, both very inherent characteristics of the Mawi Label & Koovs Brand respectively. Under the creative leadership of Mawi Keivom, a UK based designer and Creative Director at Mawi Jewellery, koovs recently introduced this capsule collection #MawixKoovs which is super-affordable and it will be after-all a Mawi piece that you’ll own.

For this outfit I am wearing some of my favourite pieces you’ll find in the collection on Koovs. Bright powerful colors, neon accents and big rocks in the accessories make this a highly distracting collection that will turn you into a complete hoarder. Since the #MawixKoovs pieces are such stars in themselves, I decided to keep the rest of the outfit muted and plain so that there is some sort of balance in the party happening here.

Another great move on part of Mawi & Koovs was to convert her statement chunky embellished classic clutches into plain 2D prints. I personally think this was a fabulous idea. But my absolute favourite part of the entire collection is the rings! The golden skull ring with spike was love-at-first-sight. This is what a classic Mawi London clutch looks like and below it is what #MawixKoovs has to offer. Not bad at all I’d say!

To celebrate the launch, Koovs also threw a massive party at the MoonRiver store in Delhi to introduce the collection to all Mawi fans in the industry. That’s a selfie with the super fun Mawi Keivom herself!
