Bobbi Brown Art Stick & Perfectly Defined Gel Liner

Two fabulous products from Bobbi Brown that I have now been using for almost 2 months. And I use them a LOT! Here is my experience with the Bobbi Brown Art Stick in Bright Raspberry and the Perfectly Defined Gel Liner in Steel Grey.

~ This is a great travel friendly product because its both a lipstick and a lip liner in one and you don’t even have to bother hunting for a liner in a similar color (something I detest doing). The stick comes with its very own sharpener in the packaging since its a thick pencil.
~ Its a perfect balance of creamy lusciousness and matte stay-power. Not too soft that it runs in no time and not too matte and hard for the lips.
~ I line my lips with a sharpened tip, fill in with the same. Blot with tissue. Repeat the same process about 3 times. After this the color lasts for about half a day on my lips but does tend to fade slightly towards the end. I don’t mind that because even after fading the color has its presence.
~ Love the deep yet bright raspberry color. Its really delicious and gorgeous and I reckon it would suit any skin-tone. Looking brighter on fairer tones and deeper on dusky tones.

~ This is one of those products that you will actually use quite often, meaning it will eventually finish off. It will last quite long but not so long that you will end up throwing it out.
~ Priced at ₹ 2,100/- there are total of 8 shades to choose from both bright and subtle ones. There have been trips where the only lip products I have carried are my lip balm and this pencil.

~ The only disadvantage I find is the fact that if you forget to carry its sharpener, you’ll be in a bit of a bind because you do need to sharpen the stick after about 3-4 uses.
~ The only two sticks in this form that I have used are the Clinique ‘Chubby Stick’ and this Bobbi Brown ‘Art Stick’. I definitely prefer the Art Stick. The chubby stick is softer for my taste.

Perfectly Defined Gel Liner
{ Rating: 6/10 }
~ This eyeliner has a very smooth texture that enables the pencil to glide easily on the eyelids. Its a retractable liner that comes in 6 shades and is priced at ₹ 1,540/-
~ I personally prefer a jet black liner since a grey colored liner fades in front of black mascara lashes. However I do know a lot of women who love grey liners.
~ This gel liner is much smoother and silkier than the Maybelline colossal liner which has crumbled and broken a lot many times in comparison to this one but does smudge lesser since it is drier than the gel liner.
