~ Classic Travel Outfits ~

Some classics you should always carry with you while on the move. These outfits look clean, crisp, chic, never go out of style and are just as comfortable. I am going to share with you 3 basic outfits that I recently carried with me to Bengaluru to cover a hotel launch – Aloft Hotels in Cessna Business Park, Bengauluru.

Look – 1 { On the flight }

A plain white cotton shirt with a colored pair of denims. While blue jeans are a cult classic and are also a part of this list, a colored pair of denims adds that touch of fun in the wardrobe. It makes the outfit just a little bit more interesting and even makes you appear open to change and experimentation. A basic cotton white shirt buttoned up or down goes with just about everything. Cotton lets your skin breathe and keeps you as fresh-looking as possible. I wore this outfit on my flight and for the rest of the day while exploring the hotel.

Look – 2 { Denim on Denim }

For a while I thought that the denim on denim look was just a trend that would phase out. But now I understand why it has grown roots as another classic look and will always be in style. Denim has been hardwired into our minds for the longest time now. Its casual yet not completely informal. You can make it look chic, hippie, polished or completely rugged. A basic pair of skinny deep blue denim jeans are as important in a wardrobe as the dot is to an i. I paired these with a denim top to complete my denim look. Its a really simple outfit, can carry you throughout the whole week I reckon and makes you look like you have it all together. Pair it with black shoes and you can never go wrong with this look.

Look – 3 { The Black Dress }

It can be a little black dress (lbd) or a big black dress – maxi, etc. As long as its a plain black dress that you have tried and tested and know that it suits your body type, you should cling on to it and maybe buy more than just one piece in the same style. A black dress will always be by your side, to glam you up and completely change your look in a second. Put it on and you’re a new person, a sexier person. A bit of lipstick, any accessory you might have on you, the same black shoes and you’re good to go.
