~ Pepe Jeans London ~
The first pair of jeans that I absolutely loved and clung on to for almost a decade was a pair of classic deep blue denims that fit me like a dream and they were a pair of Pepe Jeans. I don’t think there is anything more important than fit when it comes to a pair of jeans. I was more than excited recently to be invited to the launch of a brand new store of Pepe Jeans London in CP, Delhi. And when I saw their new campaign featuring Behati Prinsloo, I knew I absolutely had to go visit the store. She is smokin’ hot and the outfits she has worn in the Pepe Jeans campaign are quite refreshing, casual and chic.
Its a 2 storey store, upstairs dedicated to womenswear and the ground floor for menswear. Quite spacious and a larger area has been dedicated for the womenswear (obviously). The best part about the new collection is their colors. Fresh, easy and so so breezy. Pastels, peaches, lime and ofcourse the denim blues. And quite a huge variety of styles, some very feminine and some just the right amount of casual. Here are some pictures from the store that I clicked. Mainly settings and sections that I personally liked.
Loved the visual merchandising of the store especially the rustic way the nautical ropes had been used to hang the denims around the store and the trunks kept near various racks.
What I wore to the launch. Kept it simple with a b/w top, high-waisted denims and the tiniest bag I could get my hands on. Heeh!
Some of my favourite picks from the store which I also happened to try out. Especially liked this coral number. The tee had a bit of dainty beadwork on it as well.
Details:
Since Pepe is a brand from London, there was a lot of literal reference to London in the store get up as well as the collection. On tees, the union jack on garments and the word ‘London’ in bold in the store and on tees. I tried a sleeveless tee with a sleeveless denim shirt layered on top as another favourite casual look.
Loved the summer blues and crisp whites in the men’s section and their basic leather belts.
More pics from the store.
Mandira Wirk had been invited to officially cut the ribbon and launch the store. She look brilliant in an emerald dress. A selfie with her.
A fun launch with live music, fellow bloggers and a lovely fresh collection at Pepe Jeans London.
