Candolim Beach { GOA }
On our transit from North(Morjim) to South(Agonda) Goa, we decided to spend the day at Candolim Beach. Its not the main part of Candolim, that’s extremely crowded, much like Baga & Calangute Beach. There is a tiny road that leads to the beach along the Kingfisher Villa. That part of the beach is not as crowded and quite pleasant. Sun beds cost around ₹ 200/- for 3-4 hours and shacks are a short walk away. You still have to be wary of a few ‘loufers’ (shady men looking for some fun) but if you give them a dirty look they usually go away. No harm meant.
Candolim has become very crowded over the past few years. It was only natural since the boom in Baga and Calangute had to spill out on to greener pastures. Its been ages since I’ve visited either of those beaches because they are literally full of crap now. And I anyways personally prefer quieter and isolated beaches.
Some pics from our day at Candolim:
A quick selfie at the parking spot before we walked down to the beach.
Love love love my new Fossil watch with its dainty leather strap.
Some beach essentials you always need to have: A good strong sunscreen, a striped canvas bag & chilled beer.
