Day03 :: WIFW :: Wear Your Stripes :: #BeYoung
Whether its the nautical feel or just a timeless classic vibe, I can’t really put my finger on it but I really do love wearing stripes and I’m not completely sure why. I do love the sea & I do know that the horizontal ones are very nautical, but there’s much more to stripes. So timeless, always in fashion (whether narrow or wide) and always a hint of elegance to them.
My Day03 outfit at the WIFW was focussed on my love for stripes and ofcourse comfort. Throughout the series you will notice very easily that all my outfits are THE most comfy ones you will find. No short hemlines you need to keep tugging at constantly (coz lets face it, you are in Delhi), no figure-hugging silhouettes forcing you to suck that tummy in all day. Easy-peasy and ofcourse fun outfits. I went for a b/w striped maxi skirt which I wore on my high-waist. Paired it with a solid white tee to keep with the b/w story and also to be able to throw on a charming blue statement necklace to break the monotony ever so slightly and finished it off with a blush faux-leather jacket which has now been trashed because after about 10 wears it had LITERALLY gone to pieces. That’s what happens when you shop from Zara. But more on that later.
