There’s a new kid on the beauty retail block – Kronokare. A French inspired cosmetic brand that adapts its expertise in Aromatherapy with products made in India, the brand aims at affordability and looking after the environment. But besides all this, the first thing that you’ll notice (atleast I did) about Kronokare is their happy and charming packaging!

I received their Lavender range of bath products which included Shampoo + Conditioner + Shower Gel + Soap + Body Lotion & a loofah. The ‘Provencal Lavender’ range is essentially meant to be a repairing range with natural extracts of lavender & thyme.

Got my products in a gorgeous black box with pretty nature illustrations. Each product has a super adorable little rhyme on it which will make you smile each time you glance upon it while lathering the shampoo in your hair. Each bottle of the lavender range has this written on it: ‘”Relax don’t panic Lavender is dynamic” These products will repair and re-generate without getting you even a second late.’ Along with some very cute rhymes.

The bottles at first look do tend to look like medicine bottles but maybe that’s the look they were going for. Natural products are in a way medicinal.
The Shower Gel has ‘Bubble it up; Double it up. Wash for a while, don’t forget to smile, smile, smile’ written on its back.
The Body lotion has ‘Spread generously from head to toe, rejoice in the natural glow. Go on rub-it-in’ written on its back. How cute is this?!

That’s their glycerine soap. Smells like a summer dream

The shampoo is wonderfully light on the hair. It seems gentle enough for daily use and left my hair squeaky clean. While the product smells wonderful, the fragrance doesn’t last too long on the hair which is quite alright.
The shower gel was again light and didn’t leave the skin dry at all. Since all the bottles look pretty much the same, you must pay a bit of attention to the label lest you confuse the body lotion with the conditioner, especially since they have pretty much the same consistency.
Hair and skin seemed quite happy and satisfied after using these products for more than a week. I do however wish the conditioner was a bit creamier but that’s just a personal preference. I like conditioners that are on the heavier side and quite slippery.
