Jaipur | Le Méridien | Day 02

Continuing our series from our recent trip to discover Jaipur & Jaipur Literature Festival being graciously hosted by Le Méridien, Jaipur, here is the lowdown on the our second day there. You can find Naina’s blog post on the 2nd day HERE.

A fresh start to the day and we headed on to Diggi Palace, where the Jaipur Literature Festival was taking place in Jaipur. A large open space with designated areas for talks to take place, lots of lovely make-shift restaurants to eat at, lovely stalls brimming with bright colored handicrafts and books, it was a bright sunny winter day. With a LOT of people bustling about, some knew exactly where they wanted to be and some not so. Its always a good idea to be well prepared with a map and know exactly which talks and discussions you would like to attend, it can get quite overwhelming otherwise. Here are some glimpses from the day.

After a whole day of roaming around like crazies we headed back to the hotel to catch up on another super late lunch. Grilled prawns, dimsums, mousse and the tastiest dahi-kebabs you’ll ever have in Jaipur!
