Walking for The Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2012 for the very first time, Mitali Roannorey is a classic Bangalorean beauty towering at 5 feet and 11.5 inches and with big pretty eyes! All of 22 years old with a mature head on her shoulders, Mitali seems to know her stuff just right!
Heres a conversation with her:
Since when have you been modelling? Apart from modelling is there any other line of work that you have? If so then what is it?
Its been a year and a half that I have been modelling. There is no other line of work..but I have jus finished my engineering in telecommunication..so there is always a thought behind my mind about doing something more related to it.
If not professional modelling, what is it that you would be doing today?
I would have tried hard to be a part of the Indian Air Force.
What are your eating habits like and your fitness regime?
I never limit my eating habits. Eat anything and everything. I feel bad for people who restrict their eating habits just with the fear of putting on weight. There is just one life..live it, this is the age to eat..not when we are in our 70s !
If we were to look in your handbag what are the 5 things that we would always find without fail?
Eye pencil, lip balm, mascara, perfume and a moisturiser.
What kind of makeup do you prefer to wear during the day and at night when out?
Day : kajal, a nude lip colour, mascara, blusher.
Night : same as above but probably lots of lip gloss.
Which is the one most favourite beauty product/ cosmetic that you love to use?
I’m just happy if my skin is happy! And since I have dry skin..I need to always keep applying a good moisturizer to keep it healthy. Right now I’m using a victoria’s secret body lotion..and it is yummy !
What is the one rule or philosophy that you live and swear by in life?
Good things happen to good people. So just stay good and be patient.
Who is your favourite designer indian or international and why?
Sanchita. Her clothes say it all. And it might even be the little bangalore connection happening as well..
On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being highest, how competitive and harsh is the modelling career?
Too young in this industry to answer something this big! 🙂
On your day off, what do you like to do- hobby/pasttime?
Go work out or a nice body massage.
What is your personal style? What kind of stuff do you generally like to wear?
I like wearing simple and comfortable clothes.
Is there any model indian/international who you look upto and admire? If so then who and why?
Jackie Shetty. Cos I love her for the person she is. Even Alesia Raut. International..has to be Alessandra Ambrosio !
Are you a cat or a dog person?
Both ! Love al animals !
