WIFW – SS 2012 – Tendances

The most important 5 day fashion event – The Wills India Fashion Week – Spring/Summer-2012 recently concluded in the capital city of New Delhi. With its fair share of gorgeous collections to the ones that completely fell flat, from fashion forward dressing to failure to belong, there was a lot in the basket for all to see and be a part of!

It was very pleasant to see an influx of Bloggers at the fashion week and also an improving sense of responsibility and professionalism over the years. Designers and buyers were all taking an initiative on their parts and making business happen. Thats what its all about and boy did it feel good to be a part of it!

I for one had an absolute blast coordinating outfits and accessories for all 5 days, looking at people who had put in a similar effort and clicking photographs all over the venue like a crazy puppy! Over the next few posts is what I have compiled for all of you – looks, trends, fashion forward, ethnic, crazy and classic right from the Wills India Fashion Week to your screens!

See, absorb, form an opinion and comment.
Here we go!
The Venue Pass:

Olga keeping it minimal and real with a black shirt and a grey maxi at the Chivas Lounge

Also, before I forget to mention, there was a delish cocktail being served at the Chivas Lounge which I took advantage of everyday! Whoever said you can’t drink at work! The cocktail was a Chivas whiskey with apple juice, lemon zest and cinnamon. I know how to make it but I dont really know what its called. But it was definitely worth a mention.

Cropped Lace top with satin trousers and a statement chunky neck-piece. Always remember if your accessory is loud keep your garments minimal hued. Works fabulously!

I was literally gasping for air when I asked her if I could take a picture of her chunkilicious neckpiece.

Another fellow-blogger working her look perfectly to her petite frame. Very sea-side nautical chic with that little glitz in the gold multichain.

I love how she wasnt afraid to mix her colored trousers with some even more colored heels and make it look so effortless.

Theres lots more to come…Stay posted for future blog posts.
